The conference venue
The conference will be hosted at the historical main building of the University of Innsbruck. It is located centrally in the heart of Innsbruck (Innrain 52).
The conference programme
There will be a casual pre-conference meet-up on Wednesday 28 September at the Wohnzimmer (Fürstenweg 5, 6020 Innsbruck). You can meet us there from 7 pm to.

On the 1st of October we will have a group hike on the Nordkette. We will meet at 09:30 at the Anna Säule in the centre of Innsbruck. From there we will have a relaxing hike to some mountain huts (Umbrüggler Alm > Arzler Alm > Hötting Alm) and enjoy the beautiful view of Innsbruck and beyond.
Virtual Platform
The Transkribus User Conference will be organised as a hybrid event. This means that we will live stream all sessions of TUC22. Virtual participants will have the opportunity to follow all the talks and also the workshops of TUC22. So in the very unfortunate case that you can not attend, you can still participate in virtual form. All sessions will also be recorded. So they can also be enjoyed after the conference has ended. Breaks and Lunch
During the breaks we will offer you coffee, tea, water, other drinks and fruit to fill up your tanks so you can get the most out of TUC22.
Also for lunch we will have you covered. On Thursday 29 we will have Pasta Peperonata (peppers) with/without chicken and salad. And on Friday 30 you can enjoy Pumpkin goulash with/without minced meat and rice served with salad. There will also be gluten free and vegan options.
Conference Dinner
The conference dinner will take place on Thursday 29 September at 20:00 o’clock at the Bierstindl restaurant (Klostergasse 6, 6020 Innsbruck). After dinner we would be happy to welcome you to the first floor of the Bierstindl for music and dancing.
If you would like company on your way to the restaurant, we will have two meeting points: one for going there by tram (bus stop: Innsbruck Marktplatz, tram leaving at 19:29). And one for all those keen on walking (about 30 minutes, meeting point: Annasäule – St. Anne’s Column – Maria-Theresien-Straße at 19:15 o’clock).
